The Human Resource Department of Pru East District Assembly organized a capacity-building workshop for staff of the Environmental Health Unit and Business Advisory unit. the training, structured in two modules, focused on Report Writing and minutes writing.
The workshop aimed at equipping staff with practical skills to improve documentation, strengthen accountability, and enhance organizational efficiency in line with the local government Act, 2016(Act 936) .
Over the course of the session, participants were introduced to the meaning, purpose, and importance of reports and minutes, qualities of good documentation, and practical techniques for structuring, writing ,and presenting reports and minutes. interactive methodologies, including slide presentation, group discussions, and practice exercise were deployed.
key outcomes included improved knowledge and skills in documentation, increased awareness of the importance of effective reporting, and stronger commitment to apply the lessons in day-to-day operations.
