On the 17th of March, 2023 a powerful windstorm struck Kofi Baasari Nsuoano, a community in the Pru East District. The Labo Nsuoano D/A primary School stood as a symbol of resilience amidst adversity. The collapse of the school’s infrastructure prompted a swift response from the District Chief Executive of the Pru East District who made a visit on the 18th of March, 2023 to the affected school to assess the damage and offer support.
During the visit, The DCE engaged in discussions with school administrators, teachers, and community leaders to understand the immediate needs of the affected students and staff. Priority was given to ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals, with plans put in place for the provision of temporary shelter and alternative learning enagements.
