HON. ALHAJI ABDULAI ADAMS(DCE) VISITS VUTIDEKE VILLAGE AND ITS ENVIRONMENT TO ASCERTAIN THE FLOODING SITUATION AND THE EXTENT OF DAMAGE.

In response to reports of flooding in Vutideke village and its surrounding areas, the District Chief Executive of the Pru East District took proactive steps to visit the affected community. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the extent of the flooding situation and the resulting damage, as well as to provide immediate assistance and support to the affected residents. Nestled amidst the scenic landscapes of the Pru East District ; Vutideke has recently been grappling with challenges posed by flooding which has caused damage to homes, farmlands, infrastructure and displacing families from their dwellings.

The DCE initiated discussions on strategies for mitigating the impact of future flooding events and building resilience within the community. This included exploring measures such as construction of drainage systems, elevation of homes and implementation of early warning systems to prepare for and respond to flood emergencies.
