The Pru East District Assembly has reconstituted its Fixed Assets Coordinating Unit (FACU) in accordance with Regulation 156(1) of the Public Financial Management Regulations, 2019 (L.I. 2378).
The inauguration and swearing-in ceremony was held on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, at the District Coordinating Director’s Office. The District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr. Kaleem Abdallah Adam, representing the District Chief Executive, administered the oath to the members.

The six-member unit comprises Mr. Ewuntomah A. Abudu, Deputy Director, Central Administration; Mr. Zulkarnine Mahama, District Internal Auditor; Alhaji U. I. Ali, Head of Works; Mr. Abu Dadaie Sulemana, Accountant; Mr. Matthew Yinye, District Procurement Officer; and Madam Blessing Konadu Acheampong, District Budget Analyst.

Mr. Kaleem Abdallah Adam urged the members to commence their duties promptly and provide professional services to ensure effective management and accountability of the Assembly’s fixed assets.

The reconstituted FACU is expected to strengthen asset management, accountability and the efficient use of public resources for improved service delivery to residents of Yeji and its surrounding communities.
The Assembly remains committed to promoting sound financial management, transparency and effective use of public resources for sustainable development in the district.
Effective management of the Assembly’s fixed assets will help protect public resources, improve accountability and support better service delivery to the people of Pru East District.
